MIAMI-On Saturday, February 27th, 2010, the Christian Family Coalition hosted the 2010 U.S. Senate Candidates Forum, Floridas largest Senate Candidates Forum this year! More than five-hundred (500) attendees gathered at the Doubletree Hotel in Miami, Florida to listen to all the major Republican and Democratic party candidates for the United States Senate

Democratic party candidates Maurice Ferre and U.S. Congressman Kendrick Meek spoke about their personal faith as well as the need to help those who are less fortunate than us in society.

Republican party candidate Florida Governor Charlie Crist also spoke about his faith and the importance of character in a candidate, while Marco Rubio spoke about his pro-life convictions.

"The 2010 U.S. Senate Candidates Forum was the single largest communitywide breakfast held by the Christian Family Coalition in its history", stated Anthony Verdugo, Founder and Executive Director, Christian Family Coalition.

All the major media from South Florida were in attendance.
